Tour de Riverton

As I'm sure everyone is aware, Melissa and I are training to qualify for this years' Tour de France, as well as the three-legged steeplechase in the Beijing Olympics. That's us training on the left

In order to qualify for these events, all participants must participate in Utah's famous Tour de Riverton, held annually on the 4th of July. It's a 25 mile ride from Riverton up to the Kennecott entrance, and back into town. I did it last year and swore I wouldn't do that beast again. But, as always, memories of pain subside quicker than the glory of decimating your opponents, so we gave it another shot this year and had a really great time.

As for who won: one of us won by about 10 minutes. I won't say who it was..... ;-)

...because I'd be too embarrassed! Great job, Honey! (Don't tell her that I stopped for a hot chocolate and a nap midway through)
