I went to the 24th parade in SLC this morning with my dad, mom, and my niece S. Mel couldn't be there because she had to work . . . At a mortgage company . . . On the 24th of July . . . When not even restaurants are open . . . And noone is getting a mortgage . . . Anywho......
....we had a great time. We saw President Monson and his wife.

And, we got to see the Governor:

Here he is giving me the old lookie-loo:

S waving to the helicopter

And, the best float of all. There was one from the U, but it broke down and was being towed by a truck the rest of the way, so I didn't want to take a picture of it and embarrass anyone.

SLCPD Motors doing a nifty maneuver
Notice the awesome mustaches

Good job Ry. I really wish you would have posted the pix of the U float that was being towed after delaying the parade for 10 minutes!!!!
I know. I guess that's what happens when you have U engineers build something. They should have outsourced their float to the Y engineers. : )
